DJ Sly King is the overall winner of the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards
Ghanaian disc jockey, Sly King, has bagged the ‘DJ of the Year’ award at the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
The event, themed “Shake the Floor,” took place on November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Centre and highlighted the outstanding contributions of DJs whose work continues to shape music consumption, nightlife, and entertainment across the country.
In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb’s Joseph Henry Mensah on December 1, 2025, DJ Sly King noted that he received the award at the right time in his career.

According to him, the award came at a period when he was celebrating 15 years in the industry, adding that he had equally put in enough effort to achieve this milestone.
“I feel so good and very proud. What even made it special was that this year marks my 15th anniversary as a DJ. I have also been putting in so much work in the year under review,” he said.
DJ Sly King additionally noted that he considers this achievement a stepping stone to elevate his brand.

“This award is purposely to elevate my brand to the next level. I expect 2026 to be even bigger,” he added.
Meanwhile, as part of winning the prestigious DJ of the Year award, DJ Sly King was presented with a brand-new Pioneer DJ DDJ-Rev7 Scratch Style 2 Controller.
The 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards was graced with high-energy performances from A-list artistes such as Medikal, Fameye, Keche, and Lali x Lola.
