In a boxing battle of two former MMA stars, 50-year-old Anderson Silva stunningly stopped 43-year-old Tyron Woodley in the second round Of a scheduled six-run cruiserweight bout. After a very pedestrian first round, Silver caught Woodley along the ropes with a vicious right uppercut that turned Woodley’s legs to rubber. A follow-up flurry dropped Woodley, who almost tackled Silva on the way down. After beating the count, Woodley didn’t convince referee Sam Burgos that he was fit to continue. The fight was waived off at 1:33 of the second. Silva improves to 4-2, 3 KOs. Woodley slides to 0-3.
