Okyeame Kwame is tipping King Paluta for Artiste of the Year Okyeame Kwame is tipping King Paluta for Artiste of the Year

Renowned Ghanaian Hiplife rapper and entrepreneur, Okyeame Kwame, has publicly endorsed King Paluta as the deserving winner of the Artiste of the Year award.

In a Facebook post on February 24, 2025, Okyeame Kwame shared a clip from a music video by King Paluta and in the caption, he wrote, “Artiste of the year. Signed, sealed, delivered. And he is wearing the love equation by OK. Medaase.”

Although he did not specify any particular award scheme, his post has ignited conversations about who should clinch the Artiste of the Year title at the upcoming 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).

Many fans and industry observers have tipped King Paluta to win the revered title, citing his exceptional work ethic and visibility throughout 2024 as reasons for his strong candidacy.

The artiste released three hit songs: ‘Aseda,’ ‘Makoma,’ and ‘Apicki’ alongside an album and numerous performances at major concerts both in Ghana and internationally.

These achievements have cemented his status as one of the most talked-about musicians of the year.

However, the race for Artiste of the Year remains highly competitive.

Some music enthusiasts are rallying behind King Promise, who was a strong contender last year, while others believe Stonebwoy’s impressive output in 2024 makes him a worthy candidate to reclaim the title.
