Ghanaian singer Efya has weighed in on the celebration that followed the release of controversial preacher Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, casting doubt on the renewed enthusiasm of her followers.

Her reaction came after a video surfaced online showing members of Heavenway Champions International Ministry rejoicing at the church’s premises. The video, shared with the caption, “Spirit filled atmosphere at the Heavenway Champions International Ministry premises as members and supporters gather to worship in celebration of the release of their founder, Nana Agradaa,” captured scenes of singing, prayer and jubilant worship.

Efya, however, was not impressed.

Responding to the video, the award-winning vocalist posted a string of eye-roll emojis before adding, “She’s fitting to do it to yall again.. n again.. we gon see ..!!”

The brief but pointed remark has since triggered debate across social media, with some users backing her skepticism while others accused her of being dismissive of the church’s faithful.

Nana Agradaa’s legal troubles and eventual release have kept her in the public eye, and the celebratory scenes at her church signal that a section of her base remains firmly loyal. Efya’s comment suggests that not everyone is convinced the chapter has closed or that lessons have been learned.
