Fans of dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, have resorted to hurling curses at EOCO boss Raymond Archer over the detention of the SM boss.

In an exclusive video by GhanaWeb, the distraught fans, demanding the release of their idol, were captured cracking eggs and invoking curses against Raymond Archer.

Gathered at the EOCO premises, the supporters were seen chanting and calling for the artiste’s release.

According to GhanaWeb reporter Joseph Henry Mensah, who was on the ground, the fans kept up loud chants while holding placards with varied inscriptions.

Shatta Wale was detained on August 20, 2025, after honouring an invitation to assist with investigations into a yellow 2019 Lamborghini Urus found in his possession.

US authorities and the FBI have linked the vehicle to a $4 million fraud case involving Ghanaian national Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving a prison sentence in the United States.

EOCO also noted that the musician has been granted bail and will be released once standard procedures are completed.

According to a statement issued by the agency on August 21, 2025, “Nii Armah was granted bail around 9 p.m. on August 20, 2025, after interrogation ended. He was granted bail of GH¢10,000,000 with two sureties to be justified.”

EOCO added that once the sureties are presented and verified, Shatta Wale will be released from custody.
