Shatta Wale has once again put the spotlight on his relationship with Stonebwoy, this time using the stage at ShattaFest in Ho to publicly declare his support for him.
The moment unfolded on Saturday, October 3, 2026, during the annual concert at the Youth Resource Centre in Ho, where Shatta Wale told a packed crowd that nobody could prevent him from loving or supporting Stonebwoy.
Addressing fans, the SM boss dismissed suggestions that he has enemies in the music industry and urged people not to believe everything they hear about him.

Shatta Wale said he has chosen a different path since giving his life to God and does not want to engage in conflict with anyone.
“They cannot stop me from loving Stonebwoy. They cannot stop me from supporting what Stonebwoy does. Everything somebody tells you in Volta, that be fucking. I don’t have any enemies. I’ve given my life to God a long time ago. I don’t want to fight anybody,” he said.
His words were followed by an unexpected musical tribute to Stonebwoy.

Shatta Wale’s DJ switched the music to Stonebwoy’s 2020 hit song, “Putuu Freestyle (Pray),” prompting Shatta Wale to join the performance on stage.
The decision to perform along to “Putuu” gave the declaration added significance, considering the public rivalry that has surrounded the two leading figures of Ghanaian Dancehall for years.
Rather than allowing the long-standing narrative around their relationship to dominate the moment, Shatta Wale used his own concert to make his position clear. He insisted that what people hear about his relationship with Stonebwoy should not automatically be accepted as the truth.
ShattaFest has grown into one of Ghana’s major outdoor music events since its successful 2025 edition, bringing together music lovers and some of the country’s notable performers.
The 2026 edition in Ho also featured a strong presence from the Volta Region’s creative community.
Chief One, one of the region’s prominent musicians, joined Shatta Wale on the bill, while dance groups DGL Academy and DWP Academy also performed at the event.
