Media personality Captain Smart has once again weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving EOCO and Shatta Wale.

In a video shared on TikTok and sighted by GhanaWeb on August 29, 2025, Captain Smart alleged that Attorney General Dominic Ayine has been misled by EOCO boss Raymond Archer.

He dismissed reports stating that Shatta Wale’s 2019 Lamborghini Urus, that was seized by EOCO is a stolen vehicle, urging the Attorney General to verify information presented to him moving forward.

“Why is that some people are pushing Shatta to go back to the EOCO office and change his statement?… The EOCO has deceived the Attorney General Dominic Ayine.

“You are aware that you have been deceived. Haven’t you seen that he has stopped the press conference? He hasn’t faulted because he is just a lawyer,” he said.

Captain Smart further stated that he deliberately supported President John Dramani Mahama during the 2024 election and, as a result, would not remain silent while anyone attempt to undermine his administration.

“I was intentional, and I wanted Mahama to come into power. Due to that, I won’t allow anyone to ruin this administration with a certificate. Shatta Wale’s car is not a stolen vehicle,” he added.
