Gospel musician Piesie Esther has praised Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, describing him as one of the ‘most down-to-earth’ artistes she has encountered in the entertainment industry.
Speaking in an interview on Angel FM, shared on X on November 18, 2025, Piesie Esther recounted her first personal interaction with the “Street Crown” hitmaker, after which she realised the public perception often associated with him is untrue.
“I have met Shatta Wale before, and I must confess he is a very humble and respectful person. The last time I was organising my program, I met him during an interview, and I was happy with the way he hugged me. I even asked him to do an advert for me, which he happily did,” she said.

She further emphasised that Shatta Wale usually shows equal respect to all artistes, regardless of genre.
“Shatta Wale loves everyone, and he is always happy when he sees gospel musicians. I was happy with the way he hugged me. I have loved him ever since,” she added.
