Ghanaian Highlife musician Fameye has publicly expressed disappointment over what he describes as a sudden silence from Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, despite their previously cordial relationship.
In a post made on X on October 6, 2025, the 2025 TGMA ‘Highlife Artiste of the Year’ appealed to rapper Medikal, a known close friend of Shatta Wale, to help reconnect him with the Dancehall star.
“My brother Medikal you for carry me go meet Shatta Wale for house cos he’s gone completely mute on me for months we use to be super cool he no go fit vex me like that?” he posted.

Fameye revealed that he had resorted to commenting under Shatta Wale’s posts to attract his attention, only to face backlash from the Dancehall star’s fans.
“Wey ien fans no Dey gimme peace anytime I comment under his post !!! Come to think of it I have not met Wale in Person before,” he wrote.
While there is no public account of Fameye having a feud with Shatta Wale, speculation among fans suggests that the distance may stem from Fameye’s perceived alignment with Shatta Wale’s longtime rival, Stonebwoy.
