Shatta Wale has misled you if you believe he has changed! According to the well-known dancehall performer from Ghana, he hasn’t changed.
The leader of the Shatta Movement responded to criticism following a recent incident at the 2025 Tidal Rave that sparked intense debate between him and his staff. A viral video showed his personal aide, Abonko, preventing MC Kojo Manuel from approaching him on stage.
The incident swiftly went viral on social media, leading to accusations that Shatta Wale was encouraging behavior that interfered with the event and that Abonko had behaved improperly. The musician chose to address the criticism head-on as the outcry grew.
Shatta Wale issued a warning to people he believes are misrepresenting him or trying to damage his reputation online during a TikTok livestream. He made it apparent that he believes part of the criticism is unjust and targeted, and he vowed that he will defend his reputation.
Wale emphasized that intentional attacks will not be tolerated. He warned viewers that if he believes his name is being misused, he is ready to react angrily.
“I’ve made the decision to keep silent, so if you have an issue and don’t handle it effectively online, we’ll beat you and see what you can do.
“I’m attempting to present my company in a respectable manner. Don’t enter my business if I haven’t invited you. “I will beat you or make them touch you if you compare an artist to me, but if you are walking in your lane, do that,” he remarked.
Additionally, Shatta Wale denied that his behavior has softened, pointing out that his attitude and demeanor have not altered.
“Go tell those who claim Shatta Wale has changed that I haven’t changed.” I won’t alter myself for any of you. I no longer care what you think. He said, “What you guys did has even given me the leverage to be where I am now.”
