Social media is abuzz with congratulatory messages for Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale and his girlfriend, Maali, who have welcomed their first child.

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Maali shared a picture of her baby bump on Instagram with the caption, “God Did,” while tagging Shatta Wale in the post.

Shatta Wale also posted a video of himself and Maali, dressed in all-white outfits, celebrating the arrival of their new bundle of joy.

In the video, Maali, now a new mother, danced with Shatta to his latest single, “Wash.”

The couple’s announcement has since prompted a wave of congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike, with many taking to the comments section to share in the joy of the new parents.

Prior to this announcement, rumours about Maali’s pregnancy and childbirth had been circulating, fueled by her long hiatus from social media.

Shatta Wale and Maali made their relationship public in 2023 after appearing together in several posts online.
