Former Minister of Finance, Seth Terkper, took to social media to express his admiration for Arsenal’s perseverance following their thrilling victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Terkper, a staunch supporter of Arsenal, praised the team’s determination and fighting spirit, which proved instrumental in their hard-fought win over their arch-rivals.

Arsenal’s triumph over Spurs was a testament to their resilience, as they came from behind to secure the victory. The former minister’s praise highlights the team’s grit and resolve, qualities that have defined their performances over the past few seasons.

Terkper tweeted: “Perseverance… it pays. Gunners!!His message resonated with Arsenal fans, who celebrated both the team’s win and the minister’s show of support.

Arsenal’s victory was secured through an own goal by Dominic Solanke and a crucial strike by Leonardo Trossard, snapping a three-game winless streak that included an early exit from the FA Cup.

The Gunners are now second in the Premier League table, four points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.

    Perseverance … it pays. Gunners!!
