Spanish legend, Sergio Busquets has announced his retirement from football after this current Major League Soccer (MLS) season.
The Intern Miami midfielder Sergio Busquets announced that he is retiring at the end of the season via an Instagram video.
He now brings an end to a career that spans for close to two decades playing for his boyhood club FC Barcelona and Inter Miami.
“I feel that the time has come to say goodbye to my career as a professional soccer player. It has been almost 20 years enjoying this incredible story that I have always dreamed of.”

He won 9 La Liga titles, 7 Copa del Rey, 7 Supercopa de España, 3 Champions League, 3 UEFA Super Cup, 3 FIFA Club World Cup, 1 MLS Supporters’ Shield, 1 Leagues Cup, the European Championship, and the FIFA World Cup.
