    Ghanaian forwrad Antoine Semenyo is undergoing his medical at Manchester City ahead of his move from AFC Bournemouth.

    The Black Stars attacker is expected to put pen to paper after his mandatory medical on Thursday, Jnauary 8, 2026, marking a significant step in his football career.

    Semenyo is joining the Citizens for a transfer fee worth £65 million transfer following a standout performance in the ongoing campaign.

    Despite interest from several top European clubs, the pacey Ghanaian attacker opted to join Manchester City in his quest to win laurels under seasoned football manager Pep Guardiola.

    At Manchester City, Semenyo is expected to add depth and versatility to Pep Guardiola’s attacking options.

    Semenyo has been one of Bournemouth’s standout performers this season and has continued to play an important role for the Black Stars. A move to the Etihad Stadium would represent a major step in his career.

    The 25-year-old Ghanaian forward joined Bournemouth in January 2023 and established himself as a key member of the team. Out of 110 games for the Cherries, Semenyo racked up 32 goals and provided 13 assists across competitions.

    This season, the talented attacker has scored 10 incredible goals and provided three assists for Bournemouth in the Premier League, making him one of the standout performers in the top-flight.
