Rising Ghanaian musician Fama Kwame believes that seeking spiritual guidance is essential for artists to navigate the very competitive and tough music industry.

According to Fama Kwame, spiritual counsel and support are still important aspects of thriving in the music industry, and many aspiring singers have failed to achieve success due to a lack of spiritual support.

In an interview before the release of his new song “Kyere Me Odo,” Fama Kwame, who was born and raised in Apatrapa, emphasised that music has spiritual values, hence the need for spiritual support.

“For me, I think it is important to seek spiritual guidance if you want to become a successful musician. You might have the musical talent, but without spiritual support, you might not see progress,” said the talented Hiplife/Hip-hop music sensation.

When asked about his journey in the music industry, Fama Kwame said he was inspired by the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and E.L.

“I began honing my music craft by writing rhymes and experimenting with beats, eventually developing a unique style that blends traditional Ghanaian elements with modern hip-hop and Afro-pop.

“My style of music is a reflection of my experiences, thoughts, and observations on life, love, and society. I always look to tackle issues of relationships, self-empowerment, and social justice, infusing my lyrics with humour, wit, and vulnerability,” he said.

Fama Kwame added, “I am on a mission to make music that resonates with the soul, inspires the mind, and moves the body. I’m just getting started, and I’m excited for the world to experience my art.”
