Captain Smart wants young men to save and invest in themselves Captain Smart wants young men to save and invest in themselves

Renowned Ghanaian media personality Captain Smart has urged young men to prioritise financial responsibility and personal development over casual sexual relationships.

In an address on Onua TV on February 25, 2026, the outspoken broadcaster advised men to focus on earning and investing in themselves rather than spending their hard-earned money on sex.

“If you are a man, go out and look for money. And when you get money, don’t use it to be removing panties. Once you hit the ages of 23 to 26, leave girls alone and focus on your life and your future,” he stated.

He urged men in their early twenties, particularly between the ages of 23 and 26, to invest in personal essentials such as quality clothing, accessories, and self-care and devote their efforts to building a stable future.

Captain Smart warned that reckless spending on sex and short-term indulgences could leave men financially unstable later in life.

“Otherwise, by the time you reach 70, you will be broke, and you won’t even be able to function in bed because you used all sorts of chemicals,” he said.

He stressed the importance of long-term planning, advising young men to build a life for themselves and eventually settle with a supportive partner.

“Build a life for yourself and get a good lady to settle down with. When you get such a lady, take care of her,” he added.
