Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has responded to renowned broadcast journalist Luther King Kwame Adinkra after the latter strongly criticised him for smoking in a viral clip a few days ago.
In a post shared on X on March 2, 2026, Sarkodie stated that he has acknowledged Kwame Adinkra’s advice.
According to the rapper, he intends to heed the journalist’s counsel and will not make any excuses for his actions.
“To the biggest Boss, Mr Kwame Adinkrah, your advice is taken… No excuses,” he wrote.

Earlier last week, Sarkodie became the subject of online discussions after a video of him smoking a cigar while vibing and promoting his songs “Wins” and “Losses” went viral.
After the video sparked reactions online, some netizens criticized the rapper, questioning his motive for publicly smoking and sharing the footage.
Wading into the debate, Luther King Kwame Adinkra expressed disappointment in Sarkodie for displaying such behaviour.
