Multiple award-winning rapper, Sarkodie has received the blessings of the traditional ruler of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II ahead of his much-awaited Rapperholic concert in Kumasi.

The concert is scheduled to take place on September 27, 2025, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

At the palace, Sarkodie, born Micheal Ofosu Addo, explained that the purpose of the visit was to seek the blessings of the King ahead of the return of his Rapperholic Concert to the Ashanti Region after four years.

Otumfuo was delighted for seeing the rapper back at his palace after he [Sarkodie] last visited the King about four years ago and urged him to regularly visit the Manhyia Palace.
