The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is gearing up to surpass its 2020 electoral performance in the upcoming 2024 general elections. According to Sammi Awuku, the party’s Akuapem North Parliamentary candidate, the NPP is confident about defying expectations and achieving its target, with a campaign slogan of “More of it is possible” .

Awuku expressed his optimism about the party’s chances, citing its resilience, adaptability, and commitment to addressing voters’ needs through meaningful policy changes. He also highlighted his personal ambition to secure a 70% vote share in the Akuapem North constituency, attributing this goal to his extensive grassroots engagement .

The NPP’s presidential candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia, has also been working towards a successful campaign. He won the party’s primary with 61.43% of the vote, confirming him as the NPP’s nominee for the 2024 elections .

With the elections just around the corner, the NPP is poised to give a strong performance. As Awuku predicted, the outcome on December 8 might just surprise everyone .
