Ghana’s fastest man, Abdul-Rasheed Saminu is excited about his qualification to the semi finals of the men’s 100 metres event at the ongoing 2025 World Athletics Championship.
According to Abdul-Rasheed Saminu, he has dedicated his qualification to his family and country because his number goal is to make them proud.
Abdul-Rasheed Saminu qualified to the semi finals of the men’s 100 metres event after finishing 2nd in Heat 7.
Saminu finished with a time of 10.09 seconds. The semi finals will be stagged on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 11:45 GMT.
South Africa’s Akani Simbine won the race with 10.02s while the third position went to Kenya Ferdinand Omanyala. The Kenyan clocked a time of 10.12s
Saminu also made the the semi finals in the men’s 100 metres at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
