Defending champions FC Samartex 1996 welcome Hearts of Oak to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in a must-watch Ghana Premier League clash.

Samartex, currently 8th on the table, will be eager to bounce back after losing three of their last five matches. However, they boast an impressive record against the Phobians, remaining unbeaten in their four encounters since their promotion to the top flight.

New coach Christopher Ennin will take charge of his first game, and a win against Hearts would mark a dream start to his tenure.

On the other hand, Hearts of Oak arrive in fine form, riding high on a three-game winning streak and sitting just two points behind the league leaders with 28 points.

Aboubakar Ouattara’s side have been solid on the road, losing just once in their last seven away games. A win here would not only extend their streak but also secure their first-ever league victory over Samartex.
