Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed

Turkish sides are keeping a close watch on Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed after his return from a loan spell with Sunderland.

Kayserispor is said to be working on a loan offer and actively trying to win over both Lens and the player.

Basaksehir is also showing interest.

The 25-year-old had a challenging season in England, hampered by a long psoas injury, but finished on a high as Sunderland secured promotion to the Premier League. The former Clermont Foot midfielder made eleven appearances for the Black Cats. He has since gone back to French side RC Lens, where his contract runs until June 2028.

While Turkish clubs push to bring him in, sources suggest Abdul Samed is leaning toward a fresh challenge in one of Europe’s top five leagues. His commitment to that goal is strong despite tempting approaches.

Elsewhere, CSKA Moscow has been linked with him, but geopolitical issues have ruled out any move to Russia. Transfer market values the Ghanaian midfielder at a 5.50 million.
