The University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) has disclosed that Elrad, the son of the founder of Alive Chapel International, Achbishop Salifu Amoako is unfit for police interrogation following his involvement in the recent fatal accident at East Legon, which claimed two lives.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, it noted that Elrad was admitted to UGMC on October 12 with severe injuries, including an open ankle dislocation, facial lacerations, and a period of unconsciousness.

“On October 21, he had split skin grafting of his post traumatic ulcer. He is currently mobilising non-wieight bearing on his right leg.

UGMC further noted that he underwent split skin grafting for a post-traumatic ulcer on October 21. Although discharged on October 28 and mobilizing without bearing weight on his right leg, he remains unfit for police interrogation at this time.

“On October 21, he had split skin grafting of his post traumatic ulcer. He is currently mobilising non-wieight bearing on his right leg.

The UGMC also specified that he will be reviewed on an outpatient basis, emphasising that his current health condition does not allow him to be transported to the police station.

He was discharged on October 28, 2024 to be reviewed on an O.P.D. basis. He is currently not fit to be sent to the police station for interrogation,” portions of the statement indicated.

On October 12, 2024, Elrad Amoako crashed his white Jaguar into a Honda Acura in which the two young girls were traveling.

Both cars burst into flames after the collision, leaving the two girls trapped in the mangled car, burning to death.

The girls have been laid to rest.
