Former Liverpool forward Sadio Mané has is opening the Sadio Mané International Institute in Bourges in the summer of 2026.

The institute combines football training with educational and career-focused classes for young players.

More than a traditional academy, the institute aims to shape athletes who excel on the pitch while preparing them for life off it.

Mané is known for his development work in his hometown in Senegal, and this institute will offer similar support to young players in Bourges.

Every aspect of the program is designed with one goal: to create well-rounded individuals ready for the challenges of both sport and society.

It brings together local authorities, businesses, consular networks, and nonprofit organizations, ensuring that young talents receive holistic support.

This approach means students aren’t just training to score goals — they are gaining skills that increase their employability and strengthen ties to their communities.

Players will train under expert coaches while also attending classes and workshops that prepare them for careers linked to the local job market, community projects and partnerships provide opportunities to engage beyond football, creating a culture of responsibility, solidarity, and creativity.

For Mané, majority shareholder and visionary, the institute is more than an investment; it’s a legacy.

By combining football with education and social development, Mané hopes to inspire a new generation of players who carry the values of hard work, ambition, and kindness both on and off the field.
