Renowned sports journalist Saddick Adams has questioned why one woman accused Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey of raping her on three separate occasions.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the offences are reported to have taken place between 2021 and 2022.
The charges involve three women: two counts of rape relate to one woman, three counts involve a second woman, and one count of sexual assault pertains to a third woman.
The Angel FM journalist asserted that, if the claim of three separate rapes by one woman is true, it could be a diabolical attempt to incriminate the former Arsenal midfielder.
“Concerning Thomas’ case, how can one woman claim she was raped three times? Even if she didn’t like the first encounter, why didn’t she report it to the police after the subsequent ones?
“To me, it means she may have wanted something from him—maybe money or something else,” he said in Twi while speaking on Angel FM.
Adams also advised Mohammed Kudus to be cautious in his dealings with foreign women he may engage with in relationships, in order to avoid a situation similar to Partey’s.
The sports journalist further encouraged Kudus to be prudent with his finances following his €55 million move to Tottenham Hotspur.
“With what has happened, he [Kudus] should be careful when dealing with white women… someone can even take screenshots of private chats and use them against you in the future.
“So I would advise him to protect his salary and spend wisely. If he wants to spend more, he should bring the money home, because I don’t trust these people,” he added.
