Ghanaian social media sensation and controversial figure Dr. UN, who is popularly known for his award scheme has in a sad video revealed he is critically ill and urgently in need of financial help to receive medical treatment.
In a self-filmed video shared online, Dr. UN, real name Kwame Owusu Fordjour, disclosed that his health condition has deteriorated due to kidney failure, leaving him bedridden and in dire need of a kidney transplant.
Dr. UN added that his current health status is what has caused his absence from social media.
He further disclosed that he needs substantial financial support to undergo the necessary surgical operation for a kidney transplant. Without it, he fears for his life.
Dr. UN made an emotional appeal to prominent media groups like Multimedia Group and Media General, as well as well-known personalities like Captain Smart, Shatta Wale, and Sarkodie, whom he ironically recently mocked as “poor”.
