    Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame has once again demonstrated his unwavering support for Arsenal, praising manager Mikel Arteta and the team following their impressive victory over Real Madrid on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

    Known for his passionate connection to the club, Kagame took to social media to commend the Gunners’ performance, highlighting their growth under Arteta’s leadership and the resilience they’ve displayed on the European stage.

    In a post on X, Kagame wrote: “M. Arteta & All Arsenal Team have made us, the fans and partners, proud. You deserve everything… Congrats.”

    Goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli secured a 2-1 win for Arsenal over Real Madrid in Spain.

    The Gunners made history by becoming the first team to defeat Real Madrid in their first two games at the Santiago Bernabéu, earning a spot in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

    Arsenal will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals, vying for a place in the final at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
