Roland is notably remembered for guiding the careers of several renowned fighters. Notably former WBC Heavyweight World Champion Pinklon Thomas, the prominent heavyweight contenders Joe Hipp and Chauncey Welliver, Tim Puller, middleweight Alex Bunema, and the Nigerian Olanrewaju Durodola (former African Boxing Union champion and WBC Cruiserweight world title contender), among other notable figures.
