Sally Akua Amoakowaa, the CEO of Groupe Jay N Jay and former wife of Dr. Kweku Oteng, has expressed deep concerns about the rise of cyberbullying and the trend of nudity online.
She has emphasised that the internet, especially social media, provides everyone with an opportunity to build meaningful lives, but some are taking it too far.
Butrressing her point she pointed out that sharing explicit content to denigrate others for the sake of fame is extremely harmful.
Amoakowaa also pointed out that many individuals who resort to insults online are often seeking recognition without realising that the negative brand they create can lead to isolation.
“You may gain fame, but it doesn’t guarantee success or wealth,” she cautions.
She also encouraged everyone to focus on creating positive content that attracts genuine connections.
Highlighting the success of personalities like Teacher Blessing, an online English teacher, she urges people to support those who uplift others rather than those who engage in negativity. “Let’s follow role models who inspire us,” she said.
