    Legendary English footballer, Rio Ferdinand, has said that Mohammed Kudus and Noni Madueke have similar playing qualities.

    According to him, although both players are skillful, he believes the former Chelsea winger has more exposure in the Premier League compared to the Ghanaian attacker.

    Ferdinand asserted that with Madueke’s current performance, he will become a great player in the future compared to the Tottenham Hotspur attacker.

    Speaking on the Rio Presents podcast, the former Manchester United defender noted that Madueke’s signing will strengthen Arsenal’s squad ahead of the 2025/2026 season.

    “Potential-wise, I don’t think there’s a massive difference. I think age is a big thing. The number of games Madueke has played compared to Kudus makes a big difference. He hasn’t had the same exposure in the Premier League. I think Madueke has got a ceiling, and he can go places. I think he’s a great addition,” Ferdinand said.

    Meanwhile, Madueke’s move to Arsenal was protested by some fans who believe the player doesn’t deserve to be signed, considering his inconsistent performances, while Kudus’ move to Tottenham Hotspur has been hailed by Spurs fans and some pundits.
