A$AP Rocky has showered praises on his better half Rihanna, when they attended the Gotham Awards.
Per PEOPLE, Rocky, 37, and Rihanna, 37, graced the event after he earned a nomination for Breakthrough Performer for his role in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest.
The ‘Praise the Lord’ rapper and fashion designer stated that Rihanna, being by his side at the event, meant “everything” to him.
“Family support is just … spousal support, everything,” said Rocky. “It just means a lot. It goes a long way.”
In a previous interview with Perfect Magazine, Rocky touched on how he juggles career and fatherhood, emphasizing that he gains happiness from performing his duties as a “father and a partner and a loving husband.”
The 37-year-old spoke about his family when he was asked about the moments when he “experiences the greatest satisfaction and happiness.”
Rocky shares two sons and a daughter with Rihanna. “I think peace really makes me happy,” he said.
“Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy. I hope this doesn’t sound cliché, and I would hate if it does, because that’s what honestly gets me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan. It doesn’t matter what hat I wear that day, it’s just about being able to give it my all and do these things.”
In a separate interview with Complex, Rocky also gave a lovely shout-out to his daughter when he was asked about his favorite thing that he created this year.
“My daughter,” Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, said with a laugh. “That’s my favorite thing I created this year. Shout out to Rocki Irish.”
