Ghanaian musician Olivetheboy has disclosed that he is currently focused on personal growth rather than competing with other artistes in the music industry.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM on December 1, 2025, he said his journey feels purposeful and fulfilling.

The artiste shared that people may interpret his rise as competition, but that is not how he sees it.

“I feel amazing, it feels good, I feel I’m actually on purpose. People will see it as competition but right now, it’s not really about competition for me,” he said.

According to him, his main focus is on becoming a better version of himself and keeping up with his musical growth.

“I’m not competing with anybody. I’m really looking at that version of myself that I’ve not seen yet. I’m looking at making it good because just like you said, you’ve seen the growth,” he stated.

Olivetheboy noted that he is happy with his progress so far but remains committed to staying grounded and focused.

“God being good, we’re getting there. I’m happy but it’s not a competition,” he added.
