Ghanaian singer, music producer, and Lynx Entertainment CEO Richie Mensah has been officially named a voting member of the Recording Academy for the 68th Grammy Awards.

The news was shared by Richie on his official Instagram page on Monday, October 6, expressing his appreciation for the recognition and the opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s most prestigious music award platforms.

“Thank you @recordingacademy for this honour,” he wrote.

As one of Ghana’s most influential figures in music, Richie has played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s contemporary sound.

Through his label, Lynx Entertainment, he has discovered and developed several of Ghana’s top artistes, including MzVee, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, and DopeNation.

His commitment to nurturing young talent and advancing Ghana’s music industry has earned him widespread respect both locally and internationally, making his inclusion in the Recording Academy a fitting recognition of his impact.

The Grammy Awards, founded in 1959 by the Recording Academy, celebrate artistic excellence and global achievement in music. Nominations for the 68th edition will be announced on November 7, 2025, ahead of the main ceremony scheduled for February 1, 2026.
