Ghanaian entrepreneur and investor, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has gained international recognition after being featured in Forbes for his groundbreaking contributions to business and community development in Ghana.

The founder of RNAQ Holdings was spotlighted by the global magazine for his role in driving innovation, funding Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, and creating thousands of jobs across multiple industries.

Quaye, who started his financial services journey with Bills Microcredit at the age of 24, has since disbursed over GH¢7.5 billion in loans to more than 300,000 businesses.

His pioneering angel investment firm, Quick Angels Limited, has further supported Ghanaian brands such as Chickenman-Pizzaman, Sankofa Natural Spices, and Tigon Creative Studios, ventures that today employ thousands of young people and showcase Ghanaian potential on both national and international stages.

Beyond business, Quaye’s philanthropy has also been recognised.

His RNAQ Food Banks, launched in August 2025, have already provided free daily meals to more than 17,000 people across five locations.

Speaking to Forbes, Quaye underscored his philosophy that true success lies not just in profit, but in impact.

“When you invest in an individual in the business space, you are investing in the nation,” he said.

The Forbes feature signals not only personal recognition for Quaye, but also a growing acknowledgement of Ghanaian entrepreneurs building globally competitive enterprises from within the country.
