President Donald Trump‘s physician hailed the 78-year-old as fit to serve after his first annual physical since returning to office.
‘President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,’ wrote Capt. Sean Barbabella, physician to the president.
The memo was released on Sunday by the White House after Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday for his annual exam before heading out of town for the weekend.
The exam detailed Trump is 75 inches tall, or six-foot-three, and weighs 224 pounds.
‘President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function,’ Barbabella wrote.
‘His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being,’ he added.
The memo noted the president’s busy schedule and appearances but also made a point to highlight his ‘frequent victories in golf events.’

The summary of Trump’s physical stated his blood pressure was 128/74 mmHg and his resting heart rate was 62 beats per minute.
The exam on Friday included diagnostic and laboratory testing and was conducted in consultation with fourteen specialty consultants. It noted a series of examinations were all normal.
‘Examination of the head, ears, nose and throat revealed no significant abnormalities with the exception of scaring on the right ear from a gunshot wound,’ the memo stated.
The medical report was the first public information released on Trump’s health since the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, last July. But besides noting the scar, there were no other details on the incident’s impact.

The memo was released while Trump was spending his weekend at Mar-a-Lago where the president visited his golf club on Sunday.
