Footage has been released that shows how easily serial sports prankster Daniel Jarvis managed to infiltrate the Australian team before its second and decisive Ashes clash against England on the weekend.

Jarvis, better known as Jarvo 69 on his social media channels, has become a global name for disrupting sporting events, particularly cricket.

He has walked out to the bat with India, collided with England star Jonny Bairstow and been thrown out of an ICC World Cup.

On Saturday, he suddenly appeared during the Australian national anthem, arm draped around Melbourne Storm star Cameron Munster’s shoulders, nervously looking around and singing along.

While some footy fans found his prank hilarious, others were alarmed with the seeming ease in which he managed to join the Australian line on the field at Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool.

Now footage has been revealed by broadcaster Channel 9 showing how he slipped onto the field, past security and into the Australian team lineup.

Jarvo was arrested and charged by Merceyside police, but he was not showing any signs of remorse

Jarvis waited until the last player, Munster, entered the field of play, then skipped up behind him as watching eyes started to shift away.

Munster thought nothing of it at the time, thinking it was ‘Kevvie’s cousin’ or another unknown official.

Jarvis was able to sing Advance Australia Fair with the players before he was identified and removed from the stadium, where he was arrested and charged by UK police.

He is not showing any remorse, though, posting to his massive social media audience overnight.

‘How ya going, just making my debut with the kangaroos, you would think they would let me play, after all I can avoid other players like I can security,’ he boasted.

‘I’ll drop a full video when I get out this police cell, Merseyside police are literally holding me for impersonating a rugby player, yer new offence to me, they make any old crap up to hold you.

‘Anyways battery’s gonna die peace out, Kevvies Cousin.’

Jarvis first appeared in 2014 during a Tottenham football game, later gaining attention at the 2015 FINA Diving World Series when he leapt from a 10-metre platform in speedos next to diver Tom Daley.

Jarvo became globally known in 2021 for crashing three England–India cricket Tests,  posing as an Indian fielder, then a batsman, and finally colliding with Jonny Bairstow, earning an eight-week suspended jail sentence.

That same year, he invaded an NFL game in London, wandering among players from the Jaguars and Dolphins before being dragged off.

He followed with rugby stunts, lining up for national anthems in All Blacks and Japan kits in Cardiff and Dublin, forcing security overhauls.

In 2022 he slipped onto the Stade de France pitch after the Champions League final, filming himself celebrating with Real Madrid.

During the 2023 Cricket World Cup in India, he again invaded wearing an Indian uniform mid-match against Australia.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony, he impersonated a Team GB athlete and even took a selfie near President Macron.

Despite arrests, bans, and a criminal record, his channel continues attracting millions of views for each new invasion.
