After more than seven years, SES Boxing once again made a strong statement for the sport in the city of Halle: in the new and particularly beautiful Sparkassen Ice Dome, more than 2,200 spectators were treated to exciting boxing featuring two WBO title fights along with several additional professional bouts.

    Main Event:
Julian Vogel of Aschersleben clearly defeats Sami Ahmeti of Plattling on points to defend his WBO Junior World Title!

After the draw in their first fight for the WBO Youth World Championship at super welterweight, WBO Junior World Champion Julian Vogel (23, Aschersleben) clearly underlined his claim to being the better boxer between these two young and technically skilled German talents in this rematch against 22-year-old challenger and WBC Junior World Champion Sami Ahmeti from Plattling, Bavaria.

The “Team Germany” boxer Vogel appeared more composed in this fight, controlling the action mostly from center ring with his jab and landing the more effective punches. He was thus able to defend his WBO Junior World Championship belt for the fourth time with a clear unanimous decision victory.

    Co-Main Event:
Adam Deines “is back” and once again WBO Europe champion – impressive knockout win over Poland’s Mateusz Tryc!

He “came out like a fire engine,” and Adam Deines dropped Polish opponent Mateusz Tryc twice in the opening round of their fight for the WBO Europe light heavyweight championship.

Dominating with his versatile left hand, precise shots to the head, and especially effective body punches, Deines punished the tough Pole so severely that Tryc was repeatedly forced onto the back foot. After several more dominant rounds, Deines finally closed the show at the end of the fifth round, shortly before the bell, knocking Tryc out with a crushing uppercut followed by additional heavy punches.

For Adam Deines, now a two-time WBO Europe champion, all doors are once again open after this clear and emphatic victory, and he aims to regain his place among the world elite with renewed confidence. After this impressive performance, one thing is certain — Adam Deines “is back”!

Other Professional Fights in Halle an der Saale:
SES heavyweight Michel Dobler continues his rise – defeats Mike Lehnis by TKO after multiple knockdowns!

German heavyweight talent Michel Dobler from “Team Germany” remains right on schedule after six victories, including five knockouts, in his first professional year.

Standing opposite him in an all-German heavyweight clash was the experienced 37-year-old Mike Lehnis of Roth. Controlling the southpaw Lehnis, considered a particular challenge stylistically, posed little problem for the 22-year-old Dobler from the outset.

After numerous hard and varied punches to the head and body, Dobler’s superiority was overwhelming. Following the fourth round and after suffering two knockdowns, Lehnis and his corner had seen enough and retired the badly hurt fighter.

Dobler celebrated the fifth stoppage victory of his young heavyweight career in just his sixth professional bout and will soon be looking toward bigger opportunities.

Arminius Rolle wins his fifth professional fight and remains unbeaten heading into his 16th birthday in May!

At just 15 years old, Arminius Rolle is Germany’s youngest professional boxer. The Berlin high school student, competing at welterweight, defeated Georgian Amiran Abuladze in the third round after scoring several knockdowns.

Rolle will celebrate his 16th birthday on May 21 as an undefeated professional.

Fast professional debut for light heavyweight Silvio Schierle – second-round TKO victory!

Schierle enjoyed an exemplary amateur career and still intends to keep the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles in focus. The 28-year-old light heavyweight had already made his mark in boxing as a Bundesliga boxer and multiple-time German champion.

Now fully transitioned into the professional ranks, Schierle defeated Czech fighter Rudolf Samuel Gabco in Halle in his pro debut, scoring a quick second-round TKO victory.
