In a remarkable turn of events, Torgbui Shettor, a well-known fetish priest from Akyem Kukuratumi in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region of Ghana, has surrendered his faith to Christianity. This significant transformation took place today, January 26, 2025.

According to eyewitnesses, Torgbui Shettor attended a service at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) in Koforidua, where he publicly declared his decision to abandon his fetish practices and follow Jesus Christ.

In a symbolic gesture of his newfound faith, a prayer team from ICGC, led by Rev. Patrick Mawuli, visited Torgbui Shettor’s shrine and conducted a ritual burning of his idols. This powerful act of renunciation was witnessed by his family members, marking a significant milestone in their spiritual journey.

Sources close to the family revealed that the idols and associated spirits had been exerting a negative influence on their lives, leading to spiritual bondage and distress. This realization prompted Torgbui Shettor’s decision to seek liberation through Christ.

As a testament to his newfound faith, Torgbui Shettor has adopted a new name, Mr. Jerry, symbolizing his transformation and commitment to his Christian walk.

This extraordinary conversion has sent shockwaves of excitement and hope throughout the community, inspiring others to reevaluate their spiritual paths and seek redemption through Christ.
