Red Star Belgrade are reportedly exploring the possibility of re-signing Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari in 2025.

The 26-year-old left the Serbian champions for Major League Soccer side Austin FC last summer in a deal worth €7 million, penning a contract that runs until the end of 2027.

However, Bukari has struggled to replicate his impressive European form in the United States, managing just two goals and three assists in 24 matches for the Texas-based outfit.

His relatively modest output has sparked speculation that Austin may be open to parting ways with the Ghana international, creating an opening for a potential return to Belgrade.

Bukari previously enjoyed a prolific spell at Crvena zvezda, where he registered 25 goals and 20 assists in 78 appearances across all competitions.

He initially joined the Serbian club from Belgian side Gent in July 2022 for a transfer fee of €3 million.

With Crvena zvezda reportedly keen to bolster their attack for next season, Bukari’s past success at the club makes him an attractive target as they aim to strengthen their squad for both domestic and European campaigns.
