Ghana attacker Antoine Semenyo netted his first Premier League goal in Manchester City colours as Pep Guardiola’s side recorded a 2-0 win over Wolves on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium.
The 26-year-old joined the 10-time Premier League title winners two weeks ago from Bournemouth and made instant impact by scoring back-to-back in the EFL Cup and FA Cup games.
On Saturday, the Citizens took an early lead through Omar Marmoush, who found the net in the 6th minute after a cross from Matheus Nunes.
Just before the break, Semenyo displayed great nerve as he received a pass from Bernardo Silva around the area. The attacker controlled the ball before unleashing a powerful low drive beyond José Sá, sealing City’s victory.
