The First Lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, embarked on a community-focused visit to the Eastern Region, stopping at Adawso Market to advocate for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Sammi Awuku, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Akuapem North.

Rebecca Akufo-Addo’s visit began with the inauguration of a clinic at Gbolo Kofi, a gesture aimed at enhancing healthcare access in the area.

Following the ceremony, she joined a bustling campaign at Adawso Market, one of the largest trading hubs in the Akuapem North constituency.

Addressing the traders and residents, she called for strong support for Dr. Bawumia, emphasizing his dedication to national development.

“Dr. Bawumia has demonstrated his commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians across all sectors,” she remarked.

She further urged the women and traders to endorse Sammi Awuku, affectionately referring to him as “my son” and praising his dedication to serving the constituency.

The reception was jubilant as traders and community members warmly welcomed the First Lady and the NPP team.

As the convoy moved from Gbolo Kofi through Adawso, Mamfe, and Mampong, chants of support and cheers highlighted the event’s enthusiastic spirit.
