Rodrygo is Real Madrid forward player
Real Madrid star Rodrygo has named Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne as the best player he has ever played against.
Rodrygo played against De Bruyne in the Champions League when the Belgian was at Manchester City.
However, Rodrygo will not have the chance to compete against him again in the upcoming Champions League Round of 16 clash, as De Bruyne is now playing for Napoli and not Man City.
Historically, Real Madrid and Manchester City have squared off 16 times in the Champions League, with Madrid leading the series 6–5.
Their latest match occurred last December, when City triumphed 2–1 at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Speaking to Caze TV (via Madrid Universal), Rodrygo said, “The best player I have come up against? Kevin De Bruyne.
“His technical level, his movements, his passes. He’s the best I have ever faced.”
