The Senior Pastor of the Omega Power Ministry, Chibuzor Chinyere, is speaking out against the demolition of the church’s free school located along the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway in Lagos.

The demolition was carried out by officials from the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) on Wednesday, allegedly for development purposes.

Chibuzor Chinyere expressed his disappointment and displeasure over the destruction of the school which is built for orphans and the less-privileged children in the society.

This incident has sparked a heated debate between the church, LAMATA and the public. It was more heartbreaking to see videos of the children in the school weeping over the possible dashed hopes of they getting educated.

Read the reactions that have trailed:

Ikechukwu Affluence Sunday: It’s well with you sir. God bless you for your good work. And for the government that demolished their school without mind how those children is going cope and what will be the out of demolition.. God will surely intervene in this case.

Alukwe Emmanuel: What a wickedness. God will judge everyone according to what he did. You can not be in government forever.

Nov Tonia Chii Chika: The tears of the orphans must destroy them as many that plan the destruction of that building In Jesus Name Amen.
