However, a recent incident involving a best man weeping uncontrollably at his friend’s wedding has sparked massive reactions on social media.
This development occurred at the wedding of popular Nigerian gospel musician Okopi Peterson and fashion designer Prudence Gabriel, which took place on October 20, 2024.
After the couple exchanged vows and the pastor pronounced them husband and wife, the best man was seen crying profusely. His tears were so intense that the groom had to leave his wife’s side to comfort him.
The groom consoled his best man, whispered some words to him, and pulled him close. At one point, while being consoled, the best man leaned on the groom’s shoulder and almost kissed his neck.
