German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have reportedly expressed interest in signing Ghanaian international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Red Bulls are believed to view the Ghana international as a player capable of strengthening their squad for next season, especially with several key players expected to leave the club this summer.

Fatawu’s future at Leicester City has become increasingly uncertain following the club’s relegation to England’s League One.

Despite being under contract until 2029, the winger is widely expected to seek a move in order to continue competing at the highest level.

The 22-year-old enjoyed an impressive individual campaign despite Leicester’s struggles, finishing the season with nine goals and seven assists in 44 Championship appearances.

His performances once again highlighted his pace, creativity and attacking quality.

The former Sporting CP winger has also attracted interest from Bayer Leverkusen and several other European clubs as competition for his signature continues to grow.

Fatawu remains one of Ghana’s brightest young talents and is expected to play an important role for the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
