History was made in Kumasi in the early hours of Sunay, September 28, 2025, when two of Ghana’s biggest music stars, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, finally mounted the same stage together again after years of a fallout.

The last time Sarkodie and Shatta Wale performed side by side on one stage goes back some five years ago, and since then, the two have had a rather frosty relationship.

Ahead of the highly anticipated Rapperholic Homecoming Concert at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium however, Sarkodie revealed in an exclusive interview with NY DJ that he would be sharing the stage with Shatta Wale once more.

According to him in that interview, fans were to expect not only some of their old collaborations but also a taste of unreleased projects they have worked on together.
And true to his word, the beautiful reunion happened. Sarkodie joined Shatta Wale on stage to thrill the massive crowd, and in a video available to zionfelix.net, the two were captured performing their smash hit “Magye Wo Girl.”

The crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium erupted in wild excitement as the duo relived their past magic.
