Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has turned himself in to begin a three month sentence inside the same Brooklyn jail where Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and accused CEO killer Luigi Mangione are being held.

The 29-year-old, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, pleaded guilty last year to violating his probation by possessing cocaine and MDMA and was ordered to serve his sentence beginning on January 6.

Speaking outside Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center on Tuesday, Hernandez said he has high hopes about forging a connection with the disgraced Venezuelan leader behind bars.

‘I want to dance with Maduro,’ he told TMZ, appearing to refer to the dictator’s public dance moves recently which were said to have infuriated members of the Trump administration.

Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were captured inside their home during an early morning military raid in Caracas on Saturday.

The pair pleaded not guilty to federal narco-terrorism charges and will remain behind bars until their next court date, scheduled in March. They could face the death penalty if convicted.

Hernandez said he would also like to invite Maduro to play cards with him while they’re in custody together.

‘Yo guys, remember when I told you that I was arrested, I was in prison with Diddy, the president of Honduras and Sam Bankman-Fried, I believe, the FTX guy. And you guys thought I was lying?’ he said in an Instagram video on Monday.

‘Now I’m about to go meet the president of Venezuela. I have that luck of just being locked up with presidents.

‘Oh, and I’m about to meet Luigi too, Luigi Mangione. About to play chess with them n***as, eat ramen noodles.’

Ghislaine Maxwell, R. Kelly and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs have all at various stages called the MDC home.

Whether Hernandez will actually have the opportunity to meet Maduro or Mangione is yet to be seen.

He will likely be held separately from the general population. Other high profile inmates receive similar treatment.

Prison expert Larry Levine told the Daily Mail that Maduro is likely being housed in solitary confinement at the part of the center reserved for high-profile or especially dangerous or at-risk inmates.

Known as the Special Housing Unit, the single-inmate, 8-by-10-foot cells consist of a steel bed with a one-and-a-half-inch mattress and a thin pillow.

‘In the SHU, lights are on all the time and they might not have a window in their cell. So the only way they know it’s daylight is when their meals come or when they have to go to court.’

Hernandez was considered lucky to walk away with just a three-month sentence after a judge branded him a ‘dumpster fire’ during his hearing.

In addition to pleading guilty to cocaine and ecstasy possession, Hernandez admitted in court to assaulting a man in a mall who called him a ‘snitch’ to his face.

The rapper had been on probation since returning home in 2020 after he testified against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in a racketeering case where he alleged that they had double-crossed him.

6ix9ine was also previously accused in the US of using a violent gang as a ‘personal hit squad.’

In 2018, he was arrested on racketeering and other weapons and drug charges – leaving him facing a minimum of 47 years in prison.

Tekashi 6ix9ine had a multiplatinum hit song, ‘Fefe,’ with Nicki Minaj in 2018. It peaked at No. 3 on the pop charts.

In 2015, Hernandez pleaded guilty to a count of use of a child in a sexual performance and received a four-year probation period.
