An acclaimed rapper who was deported to Jamaica part way through an eleven year jail term has jetted off to Dubai where he is flaunting his luxurious lifestyle online.

Marnz Malone, 24, was locked up in 2021 for threatening rival gang members with a gun in Birmingham.

And just four years later, the rapper can be seen posing with boxer Amir Khan and clutching large shopping bags from a Burberry store in Dubai.

Malone, real name Kimani Shaw, was deported this month as part of a bid to free-up space inside the UK’s beleaguered prison system.

But he spared no time fleeing to Dubai’s 23 degree heat – where he filmed himself enjoying a shisha with friends – and showing off his diamond-encrusted necklace hanging from the front a customised Rolls Royce Phantom.

In one video shared with his 110,000 Instagram followers, Marnz makes a gun-firing gesture to the camera and says: ‘You know what’s going on… we do the dippings [stabbings], understand.’

The rapper, grinning in a black cap and pink tracksuit, makes a stabbing motion with his hand as he delivers his message to the camera.

His friends then show off their jewellery, with a shisha pipe seen sitting on the floor of a glitzy rooftop restaurant.

Khan, 39, a former world champion boxer, later shared the photo of the pair on his own Instagram.

In another clip, Malone again shows off his chain, which resembles the supercar brand Maybach, before saying: ‘We’re outside… any gyaldem.’

A musician friend of Malone also recorded him inside a Burberry shop decked out in a pair of the designer’s £950 shorts and £325 sandals.

She is heard saying ‘my dog free’ as he gestures towards the camera.

Malone was later seen dressed in a white outfit while drinking a coconut and giving more gun gestures to the camera.

The artist reached number six in the British hip-hop charts last year with his album Tina’s Boy while he was behind bars.

His latest music, which was recorded on a prison phone, has amassed millions of streams and details jail life and themes including suicide.

The Jamaican-British songwriter was stabbed 20 times after pointing his gun at rivals in 2019.

He was deported after serving around half of his sentence due to time spent on remand.

During his trial it was heard B19 gang affiliate Malone had entered another crew’s territory in Birmingham before the showdown ensued.

He was chased into a nearby underpass where he was knifed repeatedly before being rushed to intensive care.

Twenty four hours later, while Malone was on life-support, a triple shooting took place from a car in the city’s Ladywood district.

Three men were convicted of murder after Dante Mullings, 23, was killed in the revenge attack and two others were injured.

Malone was convicted of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life in 2021.

Much of his music glamorises gang life and the violence that accompanies it.

In one track named Dunce, Malone sings: ‘Real warlord like Hades. Baby, the SIG Sauer [gun] takes 380s.

‘Yard man, but this gun come from Haiti. Bro, I think I know why they hate me.’

Speaking to the Guardian in January, he said: ‘Prison is not a place for rehabilitation. The only reason I have rehabilitated is because of music; without it, I don’t know what I would have done.

‘I would probably be thinking about going home to a life of crime to survive. Not everybody gets the break I’ve got.

‘That’s why every day I wake up and tell myself to remember two things: be humble and complete the mission.

‘Until I’m out of here, I don’t feel like my rap career has even started yet.’

The rapper was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, before his mother relocated to Birmingham after the death of his father when he was two.

The law was changed in June so foreign criminals who have completed 30 percent of their sentences can deported.

The government is seeking to amend the law so foreigners can be immediately deported following conviction.

However, terrorists, murderers and other serious offenders who have been given indeterminate sentences will continue to serve their time in the UK before being considered for deportation.

Offenders who are deported are also permanently barred from re-entering the UK.

Foreign offenders make up around 12 percent of the total prison population and deporting them sooner is estimated to free up around 500 jail places per year, according to the Ministry of Justice.

A Home Office spokesperson said: ‘This government will not allow foreign criminals and illegal migrants to exploit our laws, which is why we are reforming human rights laws and the broken appeals system, allowing us to scale up deportations.

‘The Home Secretary has recently announced sweeping reforms to tackle illegal migration. They will make Britain a less attractive destination for illegal migrants and will make it easier to remove and deport them.

‘All Foreign National Offenders who receive a prison sentence in the UK are referred for deportation at the earliest opportunity.’
