Rainbow Agrosciences Limited, a leader in crop protection and agricultural solutions, was among the distinguished recipients at the 2025 Ghana Business League Awards (GBLA) held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra.

The company was named Business Leader of the Year (Crop Protection Solutions) for its outstanding contributions to Ghana’s agricultural sector. In addition, Mr. David Oware Ansong, the Country Managerof Rainbow Agrosciences Limited, was recognized as Business Personality of the Year (Agribusiness).

With a presence in more than 90 countries, Rainbow Agrosciences Limited is a multinational company focused on producing and marketing a full range of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and plant growth regulators.

Since its incorporation in Ghana in 2014, the company has built a strong reputation among Ghanaian farmers and industry players for delivering effective, safe, and reliable crop protection products.

This year marks a major milestone for the company as it celebrates its 10th Anniversary in Ghana, a decade of delivering innovative agricultural technologies, empowering farmers, and contributing to food security and rural development.

Over the years, Rainbow Agrosciences Limited has strengthened its footprint across the country, deepening its collaboration with farmer associations, agronomists, and key stakeholders in the agricultural value chain.

In an interview following the ceremony, Oware Ansong shared insights into the company’s journey and commitment to Ghana’s agricultural growth.

“This recognition is not just for me or the company — it represents the hard work of Ghanaian farmers and the collective effort of our entire team. At Rainbow Agro, we are committed to equipping farmers with sustainable tools to increase productivity while preserving the environment,” he said.

The Ghana Business League Awards, under the theme “From Vision to Success: Celebrating Ghana’s Top Businesses,” honoured 41 outstanding organizations and individuals for their excellence in areas such as innovation, leadership, corporate social responsibility, marketing, customer service, and entrepreneurship.

Organized by Maven Communications in partnership with Zeliatte Media Ghana, the GBLA serves as a platform to showcase businesses that are driving economic transformation in Ghana. Rainbow Agrosciences’ dual recognition underscores its role as a vital contributor to the nation’s food security, agribusiness growth, and rural development.

As Rainbow Agrosciences Limited celebrates 10 years of impact and innovation, it remains committed to expanding its reach, delivering comprehensive crop solutions, and strengthening partnerships to support the sustainable transformation of Ghana’s agriculture.
