Rahim Ibrahim scored a late equaliser to earn Slovan Bratislava a 2-2 draw against rivals Spartak Trnava in a thrilling derby at the Tehelné pole.
The visitors took the lead in the 28th minute when Gong finished off a swift counterattack to silence the home crowd. Slovan responded strongly after the break, with Aleksandar Markovic levelling the score in the 54th minute.
Spartak appeared to be heading for victory when Khorkheli restored their lead with just eight minutes remaining. However, Ibrahim had the final say, arriving unmarked on the edge of the box in the 86th minute to calmly convert and rescue a vital point for the hosts.
The result ensures Slovan Bratislava remain top of the Championship Group as they continue their push for the league title.
Ibrahim, 24, has now made 23 league appearances in the 2025/26 Slovak top flight, registering two goals and one assist. His late strike underlines his growing importance to the team.
Slovan will now shift focus to their next fixture against DAC Dunajská Streda on April 18 in another key test of their title ambitions.
